Remote learning
Mr. Patterson will contact you via email with details of work being done in school. Please use Google Classroom to access work and activities set, and to post completed work. Google Classroom can be accessed on computers, laptops, tablets and phones. Download the app form your app or play store. If you are stugling to access work online please let us know as soon as possible so we can work sent to you.
Below are some websites which children can use throughout the day. Please can everyone be reading for at least 20 minutes a day at home, ideally out loud to an adult. Reading regularly out loud is one of the most effective tools to help your child progress in their reading.
As a guide, children are to access 4 hours a day of learning activities at home on average, which includes physical activities as well as access to teaching videos and work tasks
We will provide regular feedback to the children working remotely, where their work will be seen and misconceptions addressed (please make sure your child uploads their work to Google Classroom).
Again, please can I remind you of the importance of E-safety. Ensure you are monitoring what your child is accessing online and if possible review tasks set.
