Long Marston CE Primary School

Hello and welcome to our page. Here you will find all the information you need to support your local PFTA and our ambitions. The original PFTA at Long Marston dates back to the 1980s (possibly earlier) and has a history of fundraising for the school, including the purchase of interactive whiteboards and supporting on extracurricular activities.

-Who we are-

The group is currently made up of four mums who have children at Long Marston school at various different stages. Dads and carers are welcome too, so please get in touch if you would like to lend a hand.

-What we stand for-

Our mission is to raise funds for activities or resources which directly benefit the pupils of Long Marston. We love our small, rural school and we know the teaching staff work hard to maintain the nurturing environment. We are here to support that and add some extra special moments to their path through school.

-How we help-

We maintain and develop a rich calendar of events and activities for the children throughout the year. Whether that be an Easter disco, Christmas raffles or obstacle course days, we try and make sure that the children have something extra to look forward to during each term. These activities would not happen without the support of teachers, as well as donations from the other parents and carers at Long Marston.
